The DG-10G-AOC is a 10G SFP+ Active Optical Cable (AOC) engineered for high-speed, short-distance data transmission in data centers and enterprise network environments. It integrates SFP+ transceivers permanently attached to a multimode optical fiber cable, providing a simple, plug-and-play solution for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
Supporting data rates from 1 Gbps up to 11.3 Gbps, this AOC is fully compatible with 10G Ethernet, 1G Ethernet, 8G / 4G / 2G / 1G Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand (SDR / DDR / QDR) applications. Its hot-pluggable SFP+ form factorensures seamless installation and flexible port usage without service interruption.
The DG-10G-AOC operates over multimode fiber (OM2 or OM3) and is optimized for in-rack and short inter-rack connections, delivering lower power consumption, reduced latency, and improved signal integrity compared to traditional copper DAC cables.
