The Data General DG-10G-DAC is a high-performance 10G SFP+ Passive Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cableengineered for reliable, low-latency short-distance interconnections between network devices such as switches, routers, servers, and storage systems.
This passive twinax solution supports multi-gigabit data rates up to 10.5 Gbps, making it suitable for 10G Ethernet, 10G Fibre Channel and InfiniBand (SDR / DDR / QDR) applications. As a passive cable, it contains no signal conditioning electronics, resulting in ultra-low power consumption and a cost-effective alternative to optical transceivers or Active Optical Cables (AOC).
Fully compliant with SFP+ MSA and SFF-8431 specifications, the DG-10G-DAC ensures broad interoperability and is optimized for high-density data center environments, including Top-of-Rack (ToR), End-of-Row (EoR), and Middle-of-Row (MoR) architectures.
