Data General is a 25G SFP28 single-mode fiber transceiver for long-range 25 Gigabit Ethernet links. Supports up to 10 km over SMF at 1310 nm, compliant with IEEE 802.3cc 25GBASE-LR.
The DG-25G-LR-SM1310 is a high-performance 25 Gbps SFP28 optical transceiver designed for long-range single-mode fiber applications. Operating at a 1310 nm wavelength using a DFB laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver, it supports transmission distances of up to 10 km over standard single-mode fiber (SMF).
The module is compliant with IEEE 802.3cc 25GBASE-LR, SFP28 MSA, SFF-8431, and SFF-8432, ensuring wide interoperability with 25G-capable switches, routers, servers, and network interface cards. It supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) in accordance with SFF-8472, enabling real-time monitoring of key operating parameters such as temperature, supply voltage, bias current, and optical transmit and receive power.
With low power consumption, advanced signal integrity, and a hot-pluggable SFP28 form factor, the DG-25G-LR-SM1310 is ideal for data center interconnects, campus backbones, mobile fronthaul (CPRI), and high-speed enterprise networks requiring stable and efficient 25G connectivity over long distances.
